Big Lyons Falls
We rarely have been able to time an outing to coincide with the peak of autumn colors. Somehow we did tear ourselves away last Saturday (10/25/09) to take a drive in the country south of Cleveland. Having no particular destination, we found our way to Mohican State Park and within there to Big Lyons Falls. The falls themselves were just to the right, however what was most impressive was the sheer height if the stone wall down which the water falls. The colors were awesome, as well, especially the fresh blankets of fallen leaves at the bases of the trees.
